Personally, I enjoy spending time on Instagram. I find it very inspiring and very creative space for fashion bloggers, influencers, and models. As much as I enjoy creating and designing my feed, I can’t forget about Insta Stories. Since they have appeared, they become much more powerful for reach, engagement, and communication with your followers. When someone comments your photo, it goes right below it, but when someone replies to your story it goes straight to your messages! That way, you will have the opportunity to talk with your follower, without everybody seeing it.
In this post, we will check the tricks to make your Insta Stories better.
Doodle and Use the Screen Recording Button (iPhone)
If you have an iPhone, you can easily add a recording button. Go to your Settings – Control Center and add a Screen Recording Button. This button will allow you to record whatever you want. If you’re going to doodle some image, no problem! You can do that by recording the process and then upload to your Insta Stories. Don’t forget a few things though:
- The video shouldn’t be bigger than 15 seconds.
- Avoid the control center showing
- You can edit your video by opening camera roll settings and erase the part where your control center is showing.
The gifs appeared not so while ago. However, in one period Instagram team decided to pull them out because many complained that there are offensive gifs. Well, guess what? They are BACK! You can now add gifs to your Insta Stories and make them even more interesting. I mean, who can resist not to put them?
Use Other Apps for Making Photos more Catchy
Since there are not many filters and many other options to make your Insta stories better, you can always use some apps like Canva, Studio or Over to make your photos look interesting. With Canva, you can make a pamphlet, covers and much other stuff that will help you in marketing strategy. You can also make collages with the apps like Studio, Over or APRIL. They are perfect for adding a bit of chicness to your Instagram Stories.
Make an Ongoing List with One Photo
You could probably see this already on the Instagram. Personally, I was wondering how somebody does this? However, it is a pretty easy process. All you need to do is to:
- Choose an image
- Write the first line of text and save it
- Then write the next ones and repeat the save part
Don’t forget to upload back to back – from the first photo you have all way back to the last one. The key is to write something compelling and something that will engage you with your followers. This seems like an enjoyable way of communicating with people.
Use Polls to Get to Know your Followers
Polls are the perfect way to find out what your followers like on your feed and on what you should work on more. Ask them for a piece of advice. You will see how many answers you will get!
