“With over six years so far in modeling, I have seen pretty much a lot.  The most interesting thing for me is how fast the industry changes and how different all the international markets are today.  There was a huge shift from super skinny anorexic girls having an ‘alien’ look, to fit or healthy and glowing models for both fashion and commercial runways.  Also, their role has changed.  Before girls were money making machines, now they need to have personality in order to participate more and more in advertising campaigns as spokes persons.  They also need to have a clear vision of their social responsibilities and personal goals.” – Lada

Russian model Lada Kravchenko was born in June 29, 1990 and raised in Moscow. At the age of 18, her Facebook photos caught the attention of Russian Model Scouts, which sparked her career in the modeling industry. Her career took a big break and boosted when she found out that she got the True Religion brand jeans campaign. It thrilled her so much that it left her excited and speechless. It was the very first job that landed her.  In 2010, she signed a contract with the agency Eskimo Model Management and left Russia. She went to Hong Kong where she worked and gained some experience as a model.  Later, she left and pursued more in New York.

With her career, she was able to go to places she never imagined. She says that she was able to tour Europe because of certain photo shoots in different and unique locations such as the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany, Hotel Negresco in Nice, Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. Such experiences includes being able to see the sunrise at Table Mountain in South Africa, climb all the way up to the Tian Tan Buddha in Hong Kong and taking a helicopter ride to Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.

When asked in a recent interview of who her favorite designer was, she replied with an “it depends” answer. She says that every designer has his/her own signature or quality. She wore clothes which gave consideration to where would be wearing them. If she is in Italy or Russia she usually wears Dolce and Gabbana. If she stays in London, she has her Topshop clothes and Burberry ready. Gucci dresses, as she says, work perfectly for formal events and a pair of True Religion Jeans, Frye Boots and John Varvatos shirts for casual wears.

Lada has been featured in a couple of notable fashion magazines, too. To name some, she has been a part of Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, L ‘officiel, Grazia, and many more.

With a great body comes great responsibility, and to Lada, that responsibility is to maintain her figure! Lada is a promoter of one of the Top Botique Gyms that models love – Model Fit. The gym features wellness and nutrition programs that are guided by holistic principles. They conduct a one on one session, offering a personalized custom-made approach to health that delivers a long and lasting result.

ModelFit’s signature workouts include various styles and programs incorporated with each other such as pilates, yoga, motion, balance stability, functional training and more. Their focus is working slow and working smaller muscles which results to a toned, sculpt, and tightened body.

Not only does she spend time in the gym, but she also allots time for sports. She loves kite surfing and sky diving, basically, she is into extreme sports. This shows that she also has a strong personality underneath the beauty and glam. She also spends more time in boxing, swimming and rock climbing. Lada is definitely a woman you would not want to mess with!
